Orange Plant was set up over 10 years ago by tree surgeons that saw the potential in the market place for a specialised wood chipper company that knew the equipment inside and out. They needed a slick website which could showcase, and sell, an extensive range of products.
We were approached By Orange plant at a very pivotal stage in the companies history. With some major developments and improvements behind the scenes at Orange Plant, the new management team needed to give the brand an all new look and feel.
The brief for us was to create a new logo, and brand for them to carry forward through everything they did. We then supplied off and online graphics for advertising and promotions they were running. This lead onto us being asked to quote and supply ideas for their new website. The Brief for the site was that it needed to drive enquiries and increase turnover, so we recommended a Magento based e-commerce platform which would enable them to retail any products they needed to. The platform also enabled them to run a separate spare parts shop and we built in functionality that would enable them to manage and take payments for the very popular service they run for Wood chipper and stump grinder hire.
As part of the re-branding process we re-designed everything including, letterheads, comp slips, business cards, magazine adverts, web banners, and the livery for the Fleet of Vehicles that are located at depots across the UK. One of the Twisted Creative team was also responsible for the production and fitting of the vehicle livery at 2 of the Orange Plant Depots. The vehicle graphics ranged from Cut Vinyl lettering on some of the smaller or older fleet vehicles, to keep costs affordable while still having a good impact, through to part Vehicle wraps on some of the newer vehicles in the fleet so they would have maximum impact with the new branding.
We delivered a striking design built on the Magento platform. This gives great flexibility for thousands of products with fast, clean and efficient navigation, filtering and search.
The results of the project were instantly visible to all. A fresh, professional and fitting brand that was approved by all the Orange Plant Family and team members was rolled out replacing the old brand that the company had naturally out grown.
Orange Plant have now joined forces with the team at QT services, the Devon based manufacturer of the QT Wildcat which is an extreme off road performance vehicle. This pairing has seen the Orange Plant Brand in the national press with video features and reviews by the Telegraph and by Supporting the Race2Recovery Team they featured in the Autosport Show Live action arena at the NEC and also on BBC's Top Gear programme.
The brand is going from strength to strength and the Web platform was put in place so it could handle the business doing the same.
